Eleanor Farnen

Eleanor Farnen is an expert in new and traditional media, market research and content creation/curation. She is a sharp strategic thinker and accomplished researcher and writer. In 2002, Farnen founded Strategists LLC, a marketing and media consulting firm based in Columbia, Missouri. Farnen has more than 30 years of experience in business, government and academia. She has worked for and advised major corporations across industries, including Honeywell where she was a marketing and national account sales executive, Verizon Wireless, Walmart, Dow Chemical and Fleet Financial Group. Farnen was also vice president and group manager of Ketchum Communications-Washington, DC in charge of corporate and environmental accounts. Farnen holds degrees in journalism and political science and is a doctoral candidate and instructor at the University of Missouri School of Journalism where she teaches graduate level courses in quantitative research and new media and digital business models.
