Gina Ptaszek Weber

Gina Ptaszek Weber, founder and president of Panther Marketing, Inc., is an expert in delivering successful integrated marketing and ebusiness programs for corporations across industries, including the retail and wholesale trades, manufacturing, financial services, information, athletics, entertainment and the service sector.   Weber has 20 years of business experience working for international corporations, including Honeywell (formerly AlliedSignal Inc.), as a marketing executive in charge of product management, marketing strategy, consumer and trade advertising, direct marketing, merchandising, national sales promotion and event management.

She has specialized knowledge of the sports marketing and entertainment industries and is considered a skilled negotiator in securing lucrative licensing and promotional agreements for her clients.   During her career, she has negotiated sponsorships, events, television rights and licensing agreements with NASCAR, the NHRA, the NBA, Major League Baseball, the NFL and the NCAA.   She has also represented clients in developing national marketing programs with Coca-Cola, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Fram/Bendix/Autolite, Universal Studios, DreamWorks, Warner Brothers and Elvis Presley Enterprises.

As president of Panther Marketing, Weber has developed a strong competency in providing new media solutions for her clients in addition to offering an extensive package of traditional marketing services.   Her company has experience taking traditionally-focused marketing programs and designing user-based ebusiness solutions that generate revenue and contain costs.

Under her direction, Panther Marketing has received major recognition for excellence in the fields of advertising, promotion, direct marketing and new media, including an International Clio Award.  

 

Margie Mobley

Margie Mobley is vice president of creative services of Panther Marketing, Inc.   Mobley, a Phoenix native, is an awarding winning graphic designer with an extensive advertising and new digital media portfolio working for global corporations across industries. She is considered an expert in both digital and print media, advertising, web and graphic design.

A graduate of the University of Southern California with a BS degree in business communication and design, she was the senior art director on national marketing and advertising campaigns for Coca Cola, Harley Davidson, Hasbro, Johnson & Johnson, Home Depot, Trump Enterprises, Raytheon, NASCAR, Cigna Health Care and Realty Executives.   In addition, Mobley has developed ebusiness strategies and innovative WEB designs for leading global corporations including Disney, Dreamworks, Raytheon and Harley Davidson.

Her work has been recognized in prominent advertising and design publications, including Communication Arts, Advertising Age, Print Regional Design Annual and How Magazine. Mobley has won numerous awards for her creative work, including the prestigious International Clio Awards, the Telly Awards for International Television Advertising, the Phoenix Addy Awards for advertising excellence, the Spectrum Award and Cool Home Pages.

Mobley has an established reputation in the field for her ability to bring a strong strategic focus and a high degree of technical execution to her creative product.        

 

Eleanor V. Farnen

Eleanor Farnen is Vice President of Panther Marketing, Inc. Farnen specializes in strategic marketing and media planning, market research and data analysis. In addition, she has extensive experience in government affairs and media relations on the national level.

Her career as a marketing and sales executive has spanned more than 25 years, working for major international corporations, including Honeywell (formerly AlliedSignal Inc.) under the direction of Larry Bossidy. Farnen was a part of the company's highly successful automotive turnaround team in the 1990s that repositioned and restored profitability to brand name products in 18-months. She also assisted in designing continuous improvement and quality initiatives that led to measurable improvement in customer satisfaction, cost control and process improvement, including pricing and logistics.

Farnen served on AlliedSignal's automotive aftermarket strategic planning team that integrated the company's U.S. and Canadian manufacturing, marketing and sales operations. And, she directed market research on automotive import penetration in North America.

Farnen was vice president and group manager of Ketchum Communications Worldwide in Washington, D.C. where she was responsible for developing national policy initiatives and directing media relations for corporate and environmental concerns.   She has experience working with members of Congress, the national press corps, national non-profit organizations (NGOs) and various agencies of the federal government, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation.

Farnen will complete her doctorate in Journalism specializing in media management, economics and quantitative analysis from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in the spring of 2006.  

 

Mark Farnen

Mark Farnen is Panther’s Director of Strategic Communications. His business experience covers over 25 years of public affairs, public relations, advertising and event planning.

Farnen’s worked as state director of field operations for three national presidential campaigns, as the logistics director for the Hands Across America project- Arkansas which linked more than 100,000 participants in a human chain along a 321-mile route to raise money for homeless and hungry citizens of the United States, and as President of the Hawthorn Foundation, a Missouri-based association charged with promoting the economic development of the State of Missouri to business leaders throughout the world. In this capacity, Farnen staged special events, news conferences and substantive meetings between international business and political leaders on four continents in 11 countries. Those meetings included work staging the 2nd Annual Japan-American Society International Conference in Tokyo, the American Airlines meeting with Parliament regarding gate access at Heathrow Airport in London, and economic impact tours of both South America and China by then Governor Mel Carnahan.

Farnen has won numerous ADDY awards for both print and radio advertising productions, a national Silver Microphone Award and special purpose creative awards in the fields of health care, banking and economic development. Farnen is also recognized as the voice of the cow in the popular Central Dairy regional radio and television series of spots.

Farnen has hosted "The Business Times" radio program on KFRU radio for the past five years and has been a frequent editorial contributor to three publications, including a stint as restaurant critic for the Mid-Missouri Business Journal. Farnen is a cooking enthusiast and is the former president of Elvis Catering, a volunteer group of amateur chefs created to raise funds for charitable causes.
