Gina Ptaszek Weber
Gina Ptaszek Weber is the founder of Panther Marketing, Inc., a national marketing firm headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. Ptaszek Weber has 20 years of corporate experience across industrial sectors in both business and consumer marketing. She has advised established companies that include the Fortune 500 and start-up businesses that have become successful global enterprises.
Ptaszek Weber has extensive experience in developing and executing fully integrated marketing programs and e-business strategies for corporations in the defense, aerospace, medical and automotive, retail, sports and entertainment industries. Recently, she directed the marketing strategy that established Southwest Putting Green Technologies as the global leader in the manufacture and sale of synthetic surfaces and professional golf greens. In three years, Southwest Putting Green Technologies was in a strong position to execute its exit strategy and was sold to Southwest Greens Holdings, Inc. in April 2008.
Ptaszek Weber has specialized knowledge of the sports marketing and entertainment industries and has negotiated major marketing contracts and product licensing agreements with businesses and personalities in those industries. She was responsible for bringing together NASCAR and NHRA, the two most popular racing series today, in a marketing program involving Elvis Presley Enterprises. Her marketing programs and licensing agreements with Fortune 500 companies like Universal Studios, DreamWorks, Honeywell (formerly AlliedSignal, Inc.,) Coca-Cola, and Ford Motor Company have generated millions of dollars in incremental sales and have been recognized as the best in the business.
During her career, she served as the lead negotiator for team sponsorships, series title events, track sponsorships, television rights, signage and licensing agreements. She has experience working with professional and collegiate teams and sanctioning bodies in developing event marketing programs, including the NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL, USGA and NCAA, the Super Bowl, the U.S. Open and the NCAA Final Four.
Ptaszek Weber has been recognized by the National Direct Marketing Association her work in developing a highly successful lead generation program with NBA star Michael Jordan. She was honored by the Incentive Manufacturers Representatives Association on four occasions with its National Gold Key Award.
Before founding Panther Marketing, Ptaszek Weber was vice president of marketing for Action Performance Companies, Inc, Fortune’s 72nd fastest growing company in 1998 and was involved in driving marketing and sales performance that positioned the company to go public that same year. She also worked as a marketing executive for AlliedSignal Inc., (Fram/Bendix/Autolite) under the direction of then CEO Larry Bossidy.
She is a graduate of Bryant University (formerly Bryant College), a specialized business school located in N. Smithfield, RI.
Margie Mobley
Margie Mobley is Vice President of creative services. Mobley, a Phoenix native, is an awarding winning graphic designer with an extensive advertising and new digital media portfolio working for global corporations across industries. She is considered an expert in both digital and print media, advertising, web and graphic design. A graduate of the University of Southern California with a BS degree in business communication and design, she was the senior art director on national marketing and advertising campaigns for Coca Cola, Harley Davidson, Hasbro, Johnson & Johnson, Home Depot, Trump Enterprises, Raytheon, NASCAR, Cigna Health Care and Realty Executives. Her work has been recognized in prominent advertising and design publications, including Communication Arts, Advertising Age, Print Regional Design Annual and How Magazine.
Mobley has won numerous awards for her creative work, including the prestigious International Clio Awards, the Telly Awards for International Television Advertising, the Phoenix Addy Awards for advertising excellence, the Spectrum Award and Cool Home Pages. Mobley has an established reputation in the field for her ability to bring a strong strategic focus and a high degree of technical execution to her creative product.
Eleanor V. Farnen
Eleanor Farnen is a management and media consultant who specializes in strategic marketing and media planning, market research and data analysis and has been part of the Panther Team since 1999. She has extensive experience in government affairs and media relations on the national level. She has served as a marketing and media consultant for some of the most recognized names across business sectors, including Wal-Mart Corporation, Verizon Wireless and Southwest Putting Green Technologies.
Her career as a marketing and sales executive has spanned more than 25 years, working for major international corporations, including Honeywell (formerly AlliedSignal Inc.) and Ketchum Communications Worldwide. Her corporate experience includes assisting the Fortune 100 in designing continuous improvement and quality initiatives that led to measurable improvement in customer satisfaction, cost control and process improvement, including pricing and logistics.
Farnen served on AlliedSignal’s automotive aftermarket strategic planning team that integrated the company’s U.S. and Canadian manufacturing, marketing and sales operations. And, she directed market research on automotive import penetration in North America.
As vice president and group manager of Ketchum Communications Worldwide in Washington, D.C. she was responsible for developing national policy initiatives and directing media relations for corporate and environmental concerns. She has experience working with members of Congress, the national press corps, national non-profit organizations (NGOs) and various agencies of the federal government, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation. She has served as a campaign consultant for members of Congress, governors and mayoral candidates.
Farnen has been recognized by the Boston Publicity Club, the Direct Marketing Association, the New England Direct Marketing Association, the Mid-Missouri Advertising Federation, the RI Women’s Advertising Club and the Association of Educators in Journalism and Mass Communication.
Farnen will complete her doctorate in Journalism specializing in media management, economics and quantitative analysis from University of Missouri School of Journalism at the in 2008.
Mark Farnen
Mark Farnen specializes in developing business strategies and integrated marketing communications programs. He brings more than 25 years of experience in marketing, public affairs, public relations, advertising and event planning. He has expertise in the fields of technology, government regulation, healthcare, economic development, education and corporate communications. Farnen has worked major corporations, including Wal-Mart Corporation and Verizon Wireless. He also has experience developing marketing programs for start-up companies, including Purple Tree Technologies.
Farnen has worked as state director of field operations for three national presidential campaigns and has served as an advisor to members of Congress, governors and mayors. He was president of the Hawthorn Foundation, a Missouri-based association charged with promoting the economic development of the State of Missouri to business leaders throughout the world. In this capacity, Farnen staged news conferences, substantive meetings and special events between international business and political leaders on four continents in 11 countries. He also served as the logistics director for Hands Across America in Arkansas, which linked more than 100,000 participants in a human chain along a 321-mile route to raise money for homeless and hungry citizens of the United States.
Farnen is an award winning copy writer who has won numerous ADDY’s for both print and radio advertising productions, a national Silver Microphone Award and special purpose creative awards in the fields of health care, banking and economic development.
